These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Webtune Technologies services. By using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering, accessing, or using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Services.
2. Description of Services
Webtune Technologies provides WiFi hotspot management systems, billing platforms, and integrated payment facilitation tools.
Webtune operates strictly as a technology platform and transaction facilitator. We do not operate as a bank, financial institution, or licensed payment service provider.
3. Accounts and Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
- You must provide accurate and current information
- You are responsible for all actions performed under your account
- You must notify us immediately of unauthorized access
4. Payments, Fees, and Transactions
4.1 General Payment Terms
All payments are processed via third-party providers such as MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money. By using the platform, you authorize Webtune to facilitate and process transactions on your behalf.
4.2 Transaction Fees
The following fees apply to transactions:
- 10% fee on all mobile money transactions
- 5% fee on all withdrawals
- Physical vouchers are exempt from transaction and withdrawal fees
All fees are deducted automatically at the point of transaction.
4.3 Settlement and Processing
Transaction processing depends on third-party providers. While Webtune aims for timely processing, delays may occur due to network issues, telecom downtime, or provider-related factors.
4.4 Third-Party Dependency
Webtune is not responsible for failures, delays, reversals, or additional charges imposed by mobile money providers or telecom operators.
4.5 Non-Custodial Nature
Webtune does not hold or store funds as a financial institution. Funds are handled through third-party providers, and Webtune only facilitates the transaction flow.
5. Service Usage
You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- Exploit or attempt to bypass system mechanisms
- Manipulate transactions, balances, or system behavior
6. Intellectual Property
All software, systems, and content remain the property of Webtune Technologies and may not be copied or redistributed.
7. Privacy
Your use of the platform is subject to our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for obtaining consent from your end users.
8. Technical Support
Support is available via WhatsApp, Telegram, and Email. Response times may vary depending on issue complexity.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Webtune does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of Liability
Webtune shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user within the last 12 months.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Webtune harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.
15. Dispute Resolution
Users must first contact support to resolve disputes. If unresolved, disputes may proceed to mediation or legal action.
16. Severability
If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

18. Financial Services Disclaimer
- Webtune does not provide loans, credit, or financial services
- Not a banking or deposit-taking institution
19. Risk Acknowledgment
- Transactions depend on third-party systems
- Delays or failures may occur
- Fees are non-refundable once processed
20. Fraud and Abuse
Fraudulent or abusive activities are strictly prohibited. Webtune may suspend accounts, freeze balances, and report activities to authorities.
21. Chargebacks and Disputes
All successful transactions are final. Reversals depend entirely on telecom providers. Webtune is not responsible for user errors or failed reversal attempts.
22. SMS Charges
Webtune may send SMS notifications after successful token purchases.
- UGX 35 is charged per SMS
- Charges are automatically deducted
- Users may disable SMS notifications
23. Withdrawal Responsibility
Users must verify the withdrawal number before confirming any transaction.
- The withdrawal number is displayed before confirmation
- Changes require administrator approval
- Webtune is not liable for withdrawals to incorrect, lost, or inactive numbers
- All withdrawals are final once processed
